LA HABRA

American Legion Post 267 will host its annual picnic and barbecue at 7 p.m. Friday at El Centro Park in La Habra. The post is celebrating the La Habra American Legion 2000 baseball team’s first season.

Post members will provide hamburgers, soft drinks, salads and desserts. Veterans interested in joining the American Legion are encouraged to attend the event and bring a companion. Members will be available to provide information about the organization and its activities.
