News of the Los Angeles MTA public art public discussion has drifted on the winds cross-country to Boston.
John Holmstrom lamented (Letters, July 2) the lack of images of movie stars in the Hollywood area Metro stations. Well, Mr. Holmstrom, trundle on down to Union Station at the other end of the Red Line. There Bogart, Wayne, Monroe, Presley, Sinatra, Hayworth, Chaplin plus 300 more “beloved international stars” await you in my light sculpture called “ATRAIN.”
Some of them will even talk to you if you know where to speak the magic words.
