Sheriff’s Department Seeks Public’s Help in Finding Fugitives

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public’s help in locating four people being sought for allegedly failing to appear in court or violating probation. Arrest warrants have been issued in each case.

Joseph Nathaniel Montijo, 25, allegedly failed to appear in court on charges of spousal battery, assault and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Montijo last lived in the 300 block of North G Street in Oxnard. He is Latino, 5 feet 9, 180 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He has two tattoos, the name “Montijo” on his stomach and “Sur” on the right side of his neck.

Ronald Anthony Lopez Jr., 22, allegedly failed to appear in court on charges of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He last lived in the 4200 block of North G Street in Oxnard and last worked at an Oxnard auto repair shop.

Lopez is Latino, 5 feet 9, 130 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. He has an Indian tattoo on his back.

Marc David Besnia, 25, allegedly violated his probation on a conviction for possessing a controlled substance. He last lived in the 200 block of Glenn Drive in Camarillo.

Besnia is white, 5 feet 10, 150 pounds and has blond hair and green eyes. His tattoos include a wizard and the name “Careese” on his chest, and a dragon and a pair of eyes on his back. Authorities believe he may be staying with his wife and child in local motels.

Carmen Amaro Lucero, who also goes by Carmen Amaro, 48, allegedly violated her probation on a theft conviction. She last lived in the 200 block of West Doris Avenue in Oxnard.

Lucero is Latina, 5 feet, 135 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She has the name “Val” tattooed on her left wrist and “Valentin” on her right ankle.
