ANAHEIM

* East Katella Avenue: Joel Scott Williams, 32, of Corona and Artenio Gomez, 19, of Anaheim were arrested Wednesday in their room at the Anaheim Angel Inn in the 1800 block on suspicion of armed robbery, carjacking and possession of a firearm by a felon. The two are suspected in a string of robberies in Anaheim. The first robbery occurred on Nov. 22, when a man was carjacked in the 2400 block of East Winston Road and then released. On Tuesday, a crime spree started about 11:15 p.m. in the 2000 block of East Ball Road when two men robbed a man at gunpoint and drove away. Fifteen minutes later, two men approached a woman in the 2700 block of East La Palma Avenue. After pointing a handgun at her, the men robbed her purse and fled. Minutes later, two men pointed a handgun at another woman and fled with her purse. At 1:28 a.m. another robbery was reported. In the 2300 block of East Omega Avenue, two men walked up to a man, brandished a handgun and drove away in the man’s Ford pickup, which was later found abandoned in the area of Gene Autry Way and State College Boulevard. Anaheim Police Department forensics investigators found a fingerprint, which was matched to Gomez.

* Irvine Avenue: Report of a grand theft in the 2500 block at 7:24 p.m. Friday.

CYPRESS

* Aqueduct Drive: Report of a shooting at an inhabited dwelling in the 10200 block at 1:07 a.m. Sunday.

DANA POINT

* Meridian Drive: Report of vandalism in the 24700 block at 2:37 p.m. Sunday.

* Via Sacramento: A burglary was reported in the 26300 block at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

* Via California: A hit and run of a parked car was reported in the 26200 block at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Emerald Bay Drive: Trespassing was reported in the 600 block at 3:28 p.m. Friday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Pacific Hills Drive: A burglary alarm was reported in the 25600 block at 1:15 p.m. Sunday.

ORANGE

* Frank Street: A report of a loud party in the 20100 block at 10:13 p.m. Saturday.
