L.A. Murder Rate
* Re “No Simple Explanation for Jump in Murder Rate,” Dec. 1:
Don’t these people ever think of the violence so vividly and graphically shown in movies and on TV? These are the same movies that are so very popular with the male age group of the killers and their victims. Take the anti-gang police off of the streets and the results are almost predictable. They are getting all the stimulus and no control. Things can be better with less stimulus and more control.
