Elmore Leads Easy Victory at Sacramento

Tiffany Elmore scored a game-high 20 points to lead USC past Sacramento State, 87-61, at Sacramento.
The Trojans (4-2) were never threatened, as center Denise Woods scored 10 points in helping USC take a 16-6 lead. The Trojans built the lead to 45-24 at halftime and had their biggest lead, 83-54, with 1:31 remaining.
Woods and freshman Ebony Hoffman each had 14 points for USC, which outrebounded the Hornets, 53-29.
Michelle St. Claire scored 18 points for Sacramento State (0-6).
USC plays host to Pepperdine on Friday.
