Access360 Says It Has $41.5 Million Financing

Access360, an Irvine maker of security products to help manage computer access, said Tuesday that it has secured $41.5 million in financing from a combination of corporate and venture capital investors.

The investment was led by Amerindo Investment Advisors Inc. and Pivotal Asset Management. Others that invested were Oracle Corp. and VeriSign Inc. Crosspoint Venture Partners, which led a prior round of financing, also participated. Access360 has raised a total of $69 million in about a year.

The company said it would use the proceeds from the latest round for research and development and for sales and marketing expansion efforts.
