Holiday Closings

With the Christmas holiday weekend looming, the following schedule will be in effect:

All city offices will be closed Monday.

* Santa Ana and Yorba Linda offices also will be closed today. Newport Beach offices will close at noon today.

* Offices in Buena Park, Cypress, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, San Juan Capistrano, Seal Beach and Tustin also will be closed Tuesday.

* Offices in Fullerton, Garden Grove, Irvine, La Habra, Mission Viejo, San Clemente and Westminster will be closed Monday through Dec. 29.

County, state and federal offices will be closed Monday.

County, state and federal courthouses will be closed Monday.

City and county libraries will be closed Monday.

Banks and savings and loans will be closed Monday.

Schools, including community colleges and universities, will be closed Monday.

Mail will not be delivered Monday. All post offices will be closed, and mail deposited in mailboxes on that day will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.

Trash will not be collected Monday. It will be picked up a day late for the rest of the week.

Buses will run on the holiday schedule Monday.

Metrolink trains will not be running Monday.
