Kings Need to Think About Future Right Now

No more articles are needed. Plain and simple, the Kings will either sign Rob Blake and Luc Robitaille or watch them walk. If management’s goal is to win a Stanley Cup, then they know it’s a necessity to keep the nucleus the team has. This season is actually a test to true Kings’ fans. It will show exactly how much management cares about winning.

In a year in which A-Rod got $252 million, it should be a wake-up call to King management that you better take care of this stuff early or enter a bidding war. You could pull that “Take it or leave it” with Stumpel, but not with the likes of unrestricted free agents Blake and Robitaille.
