* UC RIVERSIDE (4-7) at SAN JOSE STATE (7-3), 7:30, KPRO (1570)--This is the second meeting between the teams this season. At Riverside on Nov. 21, the Spartans won, 58-55, in overtime. Mark Miller (15.1) is the Highlanders’ leading scorer. Despite their winning record, the Spartans’ most impressive showings are a two-point loss Dec. 9 at Pepperdine and a home victory against Pacific. Victories have come against the likes of Warner Pacific, Cal State Hayward and UC Santa Cruz.
