Gray Leads Woodbridge to Tournament Title

Tournament MVP Laura Gray scored 18 points and had 12 rebounds to lead Woodbridge to a 54-38 victory over Lake Washington (Wash.) in the championship of the Costa Mesa tournament.

Lindsay Yocum scored 12 points for the Warriors (14-0), ranked seventh in Orange County.

In the third-place game:

Westminster 67, Costa Mesa 45--Eva Camarena had 15 points to lead four Westminster players in double figures.

Ashley Hebert had 13 and Rochelle Estrada and Biava Arganda 11 each for Westminster (10-3), which led, 22-7, after the first quarter.

In consolation games:

Villa Park 60, Ocean View 40--Lauren Yadon had 24 points and Kelly Shimizu had 18 points, including four three-pointers to lead Villa Park (7-7).

Fountain Valley 50, Newport Harbor 33--Lauren Uchizono scored 14 points for Fountain Valley.

Mission Viejo 42, Tustin 25--Meghan O’Donogue scored 24 points to lead Mission Viejo (7-7) in the consolation final.
