New Horizons Unit Wins Military Contracts

A division of New Horizons Computer Learning Centers Inc. in Santa Ana has been awarded two technical training contracts totaling more than $1.8 million to train U.S. military personnel.

New Horizons’ federal systems division was awarded the contracts by Unisys Federal Systems and the U.S. Navy Space and Warfare Command, SS Charleston, Norfolk, Va., Technology Branch.

Under terms of one contract, New Horizons, the world’s largest computer-training company, will deliver 380 days of custom training for the Navy’s client, the U.S. Army Europe. In a separate contract, New Horizons will provide 1,300 days of Microsoft Office applications training at 11 Army classrooms in Belgium, Germany and Italy.
