In Brief
*** Drama, “Causin’ Drama,” Atlantic. This Atlanta artist employs catchy, military cadences throughout his hyper debut album (due in stores Tuesday), sounding like a 19-year-old drill sergeant on such energetic tracks as “Double Time” and the underground smash “Left, Right, Left.” Easy-to-repeat choruses and Drama’s animated delivery will please party-goers, while his bare-bones production, which rarely features more than drums, thick bass and a simple keyboard pattern, hits hard despite its simplicity.
