SAN CLEMENTE
Residents throughout South County may hear loud noises throughout the week as Marines conduct training drills with powerful explosives at Camp Pendleton. The exercises will take place today through Friday from 6 a.m. to midnight on the north end of base. Depending upon atmospheric conditions, the sound of explosions can be amplified and heard up to 50 miles away.
