* General Motors Corp. agreed to join with Irvine-based Kelley Blue Book to provide used-car prices and vehicle information on an Internet site as the world’s largest auto maker seeks to reach more customers online. Terms of the three-year agreement weren’t disclosed. The companies plan a combined Web site with both brand names, hosted by GM. Auto makers are trying to meet demand for online car information as more and more consumers shop online.

* Chatsworth-based medical device maker Chad Therapeutics Inc. reported a fiscal third-quarter net loss of $683,000, or 7 cents per share, compared with a loss of $894,000, or 9 cents, a year ago. Sales fell to $2.59 million, from $2.98 million.

* MiniMed Inc., a Sylmar-based maker of medical devices, reported fourth-quarter net income, including charges, of $7.4 million, or 23 cents per share, contrasted with $4.8 million, or 16 cents, a year ago. Analysts were expecting 22 cents a share. Sales rose 55% to $70.9 million, from $45.6 million.

* 21st Century Insurance Group, a Woodland Hills-based insurer, reported fourth-quarter net income of $7.3 million, or 8 cents a share, on revenue of $202.7 million, contrasted with a net loss of $5.2 million, or 6 cents, on revenue of $218.1 million a year ago. Earlier this week, the company appointed Bruce Marlow president and chief executive, replacing William Mellick, who resigned last month.
