The city will spend $850,000 to repair 12 residential streets that have potholes or cracks or are in such poor condition that they need to be reconstructed.
Funding for the street rehabilitation will come from the city’s $877,000 capital improvement project, which allocates money annually for streets, waterlines, sewer lines and storm drain repairs.
The streets that need to be repaired are Buena Vista Avenue, Country Hills Drive, Durham Street, Essex Drive, Exeter Circle, Francis Avenue, Greenwood Avenue, Mountain View Avenue, ange Street, Roanne Drive, Spring Meadow Lane and Wilgar Drive, said City Engineer Majdi Ataya.
