Mercury, Mars, the moon, Jupiter and Saturn are lined up in the western sky tonight. This week is a rare opportunity to see elusive Mercury. Look for it only 7 degrees above the western horizon at 6:15 p.m. Jupiter is near the moon. Mars is halfway between the moon and Mercury, and Saturn is a short distance above Jupiter. On Friday the moon will be very close to Saturn.
