GTC Telecom: The Costa Mesa provider of long-distance service to small- and medium-sized companies said it lost $2.2 million, or 13 cents a share, for the second fiscal quarter, compared with a net loss of $999,674, or 9 cents a share, for the second quarter of 1998. Revenue rose to $722,291 from $17,962.
