Super Bowl weekend was a winning proposition for Atlanta hoteliers despite the bad weather, Smith Travel Research reports. They raked in $19.6 million--more than $12 million more than the same dates in 1999--from average room rates of nearly $146 versus just over $120 in the previous year.
