Standard Pacific Names Vice President
Jari Kartozian has been named vice president of Standard Pacific Corp. in Costa Mesa. She was formerly senior vice president of sales and marketing for the Orange County division. Kartozian joined the company in 1981.
* Mark Shahriary has been elected to the board of directors of STM Wireless Inc. in Irvine. He succeeds Lawrence D. Lenihan Jr., who resigned. Shahriary most recently was president of Teledesic LLC. Before that, he held executive management positions at Hughes Space and Communications.
Thomas D. Lenny has joined the retail division of Cousins Properties Inc. as senior vice president-Western region. He is based in the Newport Beach office. Lenny has more than 26 years of experience in the commercial brokerage and development fields. He was president of his own firm and spent 16 years with a shopping center development firm in Southern California.
* Jim Fiebiger has joined the board of directors of QLogic Corp. in Aliso Viejo. Fiebiger is vice chairman and managing director of technology licensing at Gatefield, a semiconductor company formed from the restructuring of Zycad in 1997.
* Patrick P. Flaherty has been named managing director of Fluor Corp.’s operations in the United Kingdom. During his 20 years with the Aliso Viejo engineering, procurement and construction firm, Flaherty has held a variety of management assignments in the United States, Europe and the Middle East.
