Odetics Telecom Takes New Name: Zyfer

Odetics Telecom, an Anaheim maker of timing and synchronization products, said Friday it has changed its name to Zyfer Inc., effective immediately. Zyfer, a wholly owned subsidiary of incubator Odetics Inc., said the new name reflects the company’s direction toward network and mass media data security markets.
