Thank you for an enlightening article. I am a Valdivia who argues with others here in New Mexico about the lineage issue. I tell them their ancestors would have had to fly here on a 747 more than 400 years ago to escape mixing bloodlines with so-called Mexicans. Your article is the education we all need.
