Mission Viejo’s CreDentals Acquired by Florida Firm

The assets of CreDentals LLC, a Mission Viejo company that verifies credentials of dentists, physicians and others in the medical field, have been acquired by a Florida company for an undisclosed price.

eHDL Inc., an electronic health information technology company in Miramar, Fla., said Monday that CreDentals and an existing subsidiary, HealthNet Data Link, extends eHDL’s national client base to all 50 states.

CreDentals uses optical character-recognition scanning and proprietary Web-enabled technology to improve access to credentialing data on health professionals. The combined companies have completely automated their credentialing businesses, thus reducing reliance and dependence on paper, eHDL said.
