Soccer League for Women Being Formed in Canoga Park

Share

A Sunday soccer league for women 18-and-over begins March 19 at Sutter Middle School in Canoga Park.

Founded by former Cal State Northridge players Trevor Schmidt and Aamon Ross, the league will have eight teams in a competitive division and eight in a recreational division. Experienced players and beginning players are welcome.

“We just want to give women an opportunity to play because there’s really no outlet to play soccer after AYSO is over,” Schmidt said.
