Mexican Consul Is Off the Mark
* Re “Low Profile? Not for This Consul,” Nov. 27:
Mexico should be proud of Miguel Angel Isidro, the Mexican consul for Orange County. He’s come to Orange County to save legal and illegal immigrants from the awful American society.
When he’s finally posted back to Mexico, perhaps he could institute the same civil rights he expects Mexican citizens should demand in the U.S.
Perhaps he could raise the minimum wage so his fellow citizens wouldn’t have to come to the dreaded U.S. to find a decent living. Perhaps he could eradicate the drug business that corrupts the political, economic, and social life of Mexico.
