New Sales VPs Named at Wyle Systems

Ronald Pugh has been named senior vice president of sales for Wyle Systems in Irvine. Pugh most recently served as vice president of sales for the OEM Systems division. Succeeding him in that position is Keith Wood, who had been Eastern region director of sales for the division. In addition, Michael Haley was appointed vice president of sales for the Technology Solutions division. He had been Southern region director of sales.

* Jacob Kuryan has been appointed vice president of distribution for PrintNation.com in Newport Beach. He was previously senior vice president of quality at Marshall Industries and a business manager at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft.

* Ogden M. Forbes has joined EBuilt Inc. in Irvine as director of the EPlans division. Before joining EBuilt, Forbes was chief knowledge and research officer for Shopping.com from its inception in 1997 to its sale in 1999. Forbes was also vice president of research for Log-On Data Corp. and an information specialist at Pepperdine University.

* Bill Hale has been appointed chairman of the board of the American Assn. of Preferred Provider Organizations. He is president and chief operating officer of Beech Street Corp. in Irvine.

* F. Richard Nichol has joined the board of directors of Dura Pharmaceuticals in San Diego. Nichol is the retired president, chief executive and chairman of the board of CoCensys Inc. in Irvine. Before that, he was founder and owner of Nichol Clinical Technologies Corp.

* Fred Gill has been appointed vice president, OEM sales for Emulex Corp. in Costa Mesa. Previously, he was the director of business development at Pinnacle Multimedia. Gill also held senior sales positions at Thomas Conrad, U.S. Robotics and 3Com.
