The City Council will continue the public hearing on Starbucks’ request to open a shop with a drive-through window at 18517 Brookhurst St.

Although Starbucks said the drive-through window would be essential to the business, the Planning Commission originally denied S.A.B.A Architects’ request to establish a 1,835-square-foot Starbucks Coffee shop in November because of possible traffic congestion created by the window.

If approved, this would be the second Starbucks in Fountain Valley. Architects wanted this one to be different by adding the drive-through window.
