Manager of Pimco Bond Funds Is Named
Mark V. McCray has been named senior vice president and municipal bond portfolio manager of Pacific Investment Management Co., the largest investment unit of Pimco Advisors Holdings in Newport Beach. He was formerly vice president of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York and co-head of municipal bond trading. McCray will manage Pimco’s four municipal bond funds.
* Angela Allen has been named executive vice president of Creative Culinary Design Inc. in Irvine. She has been an interior designer with the firm since 1997.
* Karen Muller has been named chief administrative officer at Epoch Internet in Irvine, with responsibility for the legal and human resources departments. Muller previously worked at Lehman Brothers for more than 10 years, most recently as managing director and deputy general counsel. She also headed the corporate counsel department, handling all corporate legal affairs.
* Roy T. Fielding has joined the board of directors of EBuilt Inc. in Irvine. Fielding co-founded the Apache HTTP Server Project, whose software runs a majority of public Internet Web sites.
* Christopher Zumberge has been appointed senior vice president/manager of Imperial Bank’s new North Orange County office. He was previously senior vice president at Pacific Century Bank’s commercial banking department in Santa Ana. Before that, Zumberge was vice president of U.S. Bank’s commercial banking department in Seattle and vice president of Security Pacific National Bank’s corporate banking department in Los Angeles.
* Randolf W. Katz has joined the law firm of Bryan Cave as partner in the Orange County office. He will practice in the areas of corporate finance, securities and transactions. Katz was formerly the managing partner of the Orange County office of Arter & Hadden and a member of its national executive committee.
* Kimberly A. Myers has joined the Johnny Rockets Group Inc. in Irvine as executive director of marketing. She was formerly the Western region customer marketing manager of Pepsi-Cola Co. Before that, Myers was the director of marketing for East Side Mario’s, a division of Marie Callender’s Pie Shops in Orange.
* Jon Gray has been elected president of the Motor Car Dealers Assn. of Costa Mesa. He is general manager of Orange Coast Jeep/Isuzu.
