Winning photographs from the Seal Beach Historical Society’s December photo contest are on display in City Hall.

The annual contest’s theme was “Visions of Seal Beach Through the Lens.” The first-place award went to Liisa Kyle, whose photo was a scene of a fisherman on the city’s pier.

All 17 entries will be on display from 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Red Car Museum next to the Mary Wilson Library.
