Ice Dogs Have an Easy Time, 4-1

The Long Beach Ice Dogs defeated the Michigan K-Wings, 4-1, Saturday night in an International Hockey League game at Long Beach.

Dieter Kalt scored on a power play at 14:05 of the first period for Long Beach. Claude Jutras and Doug Ast were credited with assists on the play.

Dieter would later assist Ast on the Ice Dogs’ fourth goal at 3:27 of the third period.

Ast had a goal and two assists and Kalt registered a goal and an assist, a total matched by Ice Dog penalty minute leader Jutras.

Michigan’s goal was scored by Kelly Hurd at 13:52 of the third period.
