‘Pooh’ Bridge Reopens in Sussex, England

The bridge where Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends played Poohsticks in A.A. Milne’s children’s stories reopened last week after $76,000 was spent to rebuild it. The bridge, in Ashdown Forest in Sussex county, was closed last year because of wear and tear from thousands of visitors. In Poohsticks, twigs are dropped into the water from the upstream side of the bridge. The winner is the person whose stick comes out the other side first.
