TIME STAFF AND WIRES

A new start-up airline began taking reservations last week. JetBlue Airways, based at New York’s John F. Kennedy airport, plans to start daily service to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Feb. 11 (one-way fares from $79) and to Buffalo, N.Y., Feb. 17 (one-way fares from $49).
