Making Big Changes While You Sleep

Share
SPECIAL TO THE TIMES

Dear Readers: Here we are in a new year, a new century and--depending on whose calendar you believe--the end of a millennium or the beginning of a new one. In any case, it is a new beginning and a chance for a fresh start. What are your dreams, goals and resolutions?

Whether you want to become more spiritual, be better educated, end a relationship that will never be what you want, need and deserve, let go of a bad habit, be more organized, be more empathetic, lose 10 pounds, or accomplish something else--your night dreams can help you achieve your desires.

Ask yourself: What would make my life better? Focus on that thought. What does life look like once you make any necessary changes? How great would it feel to achieve your goal? Now, write your intention on paper. Whatever you want to create with this new fresh start--imagine the opportunity as a gift of the new year.

How will I accomplish this feat, you ask? I haven’t taken action before even though I have probably thought of this change many times. At those times, my stomach tightened, my head spun and I decided it just wasn’t worth it, then I pushed it out of my mind. Well, now is the time for retrieving. If not now, when? This is your life and time is precious.

Take your written intention to your bedside before retiring. Then repeat as you fall asleep: How can I implement my desire? What is the best way to make this dream come true? Or: What is the key to achieving this goal? Then add: I will remember my dreams, my dreams are important to me. When you wake, write down anything you remember from your dream. You may get clear literal advice from your subconscious mind, or you may need to interpret symbols. Your mind is a powerful tool and it will help you achieve all that you desire if you let it. Many great men and women have used this secret to achieve wonderful things, and it is available to you every night free of charge. Success may be as close as your pillow!

Please write to me and share your results. All my best wishes for your best year yet, Cynthia
