PairGain to Provide Service in Wisconsin

PairGain Technologies Inc. said Monday its Avidia System was picked to provide digital subscriber line, or DSL, service in southern Wisconsin.
The Tustin telecommunications company said Chorus Communications Group Ltd.’s Mid-Plains Inc. chose the company’s system. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
PairGain said in a press release that Mid-Plains plans to install the Avidia System in its central office locations and also will use it for providing telecommunications services to the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
PairGain makes DSLs and other digital telecommunication products.
