Kellee Booth of Rancho Santa Margarita makes her professional LPGA debut this week at the Subaru Memorial of Naples at The Club at Pelican Strand in Naples, Fla.

Booth, who played at Santa Margarita High and Arizona State, was medalist at the LPGA Tour qualifying school in November. Booth is expected to make her California LPGA debut at the Los Angeles Women’s Championship Feb. 9-13 at Wood Ranch Golf Club in Simi Valley.

Also committed to play at Wood Ranch are Annika Sorenstam, Se Ri Pak, Laura Davies and Dottie Pepper.

O.C. GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

The first Orange County Golf Championship will be March 18-20 at Strawberry Farms in Irvine.

Amateurs with established verifiable handicaps as of Feb. 1 are eligible. There are three flights for men and three for women. Entry fee of $325 includes a practice round, range balls and two tournament rounds with lunch included.

This is different from the Orange County Amateur Championship, scheduled for Westridge in La Habra in May.
