Why Not Dress the Bad Guys in Purple?

Share

Sandy Banks has a problem with bad guys wearing black for reasons of insulting whom exactly? Bad guys (meaning this non-gender-specifically, of course) wear black for a reason, namely to blend into the shadows and the dark of night, because they tend to do their foul deeds not in the brightest daylight.

The fault does not lie with the attire of the bad guys. It lies with us and our demarcation barriers. I do not know a single black person, nor a single white one, for that matter. Perhaps we should carry charts with us with different skin shades numbered from, say 1 to 10 (including halves). Then one could say I just met a 3 1/2 person, or a 9 person, and the problem with black or white would be eliminated.

Or we could dress the bad guys in pink (or maybe purple, if we listen to Jerry Falwell). This would perhaps even cut crime, since brightly colored bad guys would be easily recognizable.
