The Maple Avenue and Shaffer Street intersection will be temporarily closed Monday and Tuesday because 20th Century Fox will be filming portions of a movie there. The intersection will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday and from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The filming of the movie, “Big Momma’s House,” will also take place in Old Towne Orange on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, which will involve traffic control and parking restrictions.
