Share

The Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace in Yorba Linda was evacuated Thursday morning after a telephone message indicated that there might be a bomb on the property.

Orange County Fire Authority crews and officers from the Brea Police Department, which patrols Yorba Linda, searched the 9-acre site, but nothing was found.

John Taylor, executive director of the library, said the message may have been misinterpreted, “but it’s better to be safe than sorry.”
