ACT Networks of Calabasas reported losses of $3.86 million for the second quarter ended Dec. 31, compared with a loss of $225,000 for the second quarter in 1998. Revenues were $9.8 million, down from $12.1 million.
“We are clearly disappointed with our top-line growth,” ACT President and Chief Executive Andre de Fusco said in a statement. “The three principal factors that affected our results this quarter were lower revenues from our North American distribution partner, delays in the roll-out of our NetPerformer Falcon products and continuing weakness in sales of our DynaStar product line.”
ACT Networks develops and manufactures products for the digital information industry.
