Coyote Network Systems Names VP for Marketing

Ira J. Tabankin has been appointed vice president of worldwide marketing for Coyote Network Systems in Westlake Village.

Tabankin has marketing responsibility for all Coyote companies and will focus on product and market development initiatives, new business development, branding, packaging and strategic alliances.

“We are positioning Coyote to take advantage of high growth opportunities in voice-over Internet protocol, applications and next generation networks,” President Daniel W. Latham said. “Ira will play a key role in positioning Coyote as a provider in wire-line and wireless markets.”

Tabankin has 20 years experience in wireless, computer and consumer electronic companies, Coyote officials said. Most recently, he held executive positions with Cadence Design Services, where he managed the North American wireless business.

Coyote Network Systems designs and operates communication networks for entrepreneurial service providers. The company provides telecom switching equipment, international long distance and network services.
