LAKE FOREST

The Lake Forest Little League received permission last week to install four batting cages at El Toro Park II.

The Parks and Recreation Commission approved the league’s request to build the cages, which will be open to the public.

However, pitching machines and other equipment in the cages will be for the exclusive use of the league.

In October, the City Council waived $20,000 in field use fees for the league in return for league improvements at the park.
