“It’s not a wine at all but a poire Williams [pear] brandy. It’s by St. George Spirits. It’s wonderful. . . . It’s really clean and extremely well distilled, so it has fresh pear aromatics. Our equipment here is so much better than in Europe . . . with our stainless steel and all. And it really shows up in the product. This is soft and delicate but has tons of fruit.”
