Continuus Software Reports Quarterly Profit of $412,000

Continuus Software Corp., an Irvine provider of products for corporations to develop and enhance their Internet and enterprise software systems, reported a fourth-quarter profit on record revenue.

The company said it earned $412,000, or 4 cents a share, for the three months, compared with a loss of $196,000, or 12 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue rose 36% to $10.6 million.

For the year, net income totaled $272,000, or 3 cents a share, compared with a loss of $3.9 million, or $2.39 a share, in 1998. Revenue totaled a record $37.3 million, up 36%.
