PLACENTIA
The city’s population is growing, but its crime rate is down to a 20-year low.
State figures released this week show that Placentia’s crime rate for 1999 at the lowest it’s been since the late 1970s, Police Chief Daryll Thomann said Wednesday.
The number of reported crimes overall has decreased 16% since 1998, he said.
