Students Praise School

Our teacher, Shana Frazin, read us the article about Linda Vista (“Of Yards and Yardage” by Julie Tamaki, Jan. 16), and I disagree with [the homeowner who was concerned with the quality of local schools].

Linda Vista Elementary is a good school. We have a very smart principal, after-school activities and much, much more. I live at least 10 minutes away from Linda Vista. I drive more than most people to school. I come because it’s better than my local private school. We get new teachers every year. Some classes get student teachers.

We have a nice and smart nurse. We read, write cursive and print, do science, math, music lessons, and drama. We have nice and funny janitors. We have a big, safe playground.
