Fountain Valley Councilman John Collins was honored Wednesday night by the Orange County Sanitation District for his dedication and service as a member of its board of directors. “It’s sad to leave,” Collins said. He is being replaced on the board by Fountain Valley Mayor Guy Carrozzo, who was voted in by the City Council. Collins was presented with a plaque from the Joint Groundwater Replenishment System Cooperative Committee and the district’s executive management team.
