PLACENTIA
The City Council will meet Tuesday to consider applying for a $29,000 grant to buy recycled playground padding for four public parks. The money, if issued by the state Integrated Waste Management Board, must be matched by the city. The council meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall, 401 E. Placentia Ave.
