Sheriff’s Department Seeks Public’s Help in Finding Fugitives

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in locating four people sought for allegedly escaping from police custody, violating probation or failing to appear in court. Arrest warrants have been issued in each case.

Ricardo Sylvester Meza, 31, was in custody on suspicion of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon when he escaped from the Ventura County Courthouse.

The department believes that Meza may still be in Ventura County but that he could have fled to Mexico.

He last lived in the 80 block of Raemere Street in Camarillo and has family in Camarillo and Mexico. He is Latino, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 128 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He has also used the names Ricardo Mondragon, Sylvester Mondragon and Sylvester Meza, police said.

Yvonne Lynn Goudy, 37, allegedly violated the terms of her probation on a drug conviction. She last lived in the 80 block of Lewis Road in Ventura. She is white, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Goudy has a dragon tattooed on the left side of her chest, a bird on her left ankle and a flower on her back. She also goes by the name Yvonne Hosett, police said.

Stephen Thomas Gelina, 26, allegedly failed to appear on charges of possessing a controlled substance and resisting arrest. He is considered armed and dangerous.

He last lived in the 200 block of Harvard Boulevard in Santa Paula. He is white, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 155 pounds and has blond hair and hazel eyes.

Gelina has tattoos of a wasp on his right shoulder, a dragon on his right arm and a spider web on his left wrist.

Rose Vasquez Castro, 38, allegedly violated her probation for drug possession. She last lived in the 500 block of Merritt Avenue in Camarillo. She is Latina, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 105 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Castro has the letter R tattooed on her right hand and has gone by the names Lucy Baldonado, Rose Lee Castro and Rose Lopez.

Anyone with information should call Ventura County Crime Stoppers at 385-TALK. There is a cash reward for any information that leads to an arrest.
