LAKE FOREST
City Hall has expanded its occupancy on Lake Center Drive as of Saturday. The 3,300-square-foot additional office space was added to the city’s current lease, which ends in September 2002.
With the city’s population increasing by 17,000 people to 77,000 after the annexations of Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills, the needs of the residents and businesses have dramatically increased, city officials said. The city will consider whether to build or buy a permanent City Hall in the future.
