Fourth of July
Today is Independence Day, with the following schedule changes in effect in observance of the holiday:
* Closed: All government offices, courts, banks, post offices, stock and commodity exchanges, libraries and many businesses. MTA buses will follow Sunday schedules, and Metrolink trains will not run.
* Trash: Los Angeles city residents whose usual trash collection day is today will have their trash collected Wednesday.
